• MESCO operates independent of the Guard Board Office. (Maharashtra Private Security Act 1984.)
• Empanelled with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.
• State Government Resolution dated 14 Nov, 2002 empowers all Government/semi Government Corporations / Co-operatives, autonomous bodies etc, to seek security services from MESCO without calling tenders.
• Government of India has authorised the Central Government PSUs or their state units to contract the state Ex-servicemen Corporations for obtaining security services without sponsorship of DGR.
• MESCO strictly complies with each and every provision of various laws such as ESI, EPF, etc. Thus MESCO provides a safety net to the Principal Employer.
